We found a terrific site for those who are as obsessed with period films and their costumes as we are, The Costumers Guide to Movie Costumes. One of Fashionista’s Fashion Trivia commenters mentioned it.

While perusing the site we came across this link to the Royal Ontario Museum where there is a podcast about restoring a dress believed to be Marie Antoinette’s.

Breguet, Swiss watch maker to Marie Antoinette, fetes reopening of Queen’s own Petit Trianon

Nothing’s more luxurious than the court of Marie Antoinette, and that’s probably what the Swiss watch brand Breguet is counting on people remembering as it fetes the grand reopening of the Queen’s vacation home of sorts, the Petit Trianon.

Having just passed Queen of Fashion: What Marie Antoinette Wore to the Revolution around the office, the chance to see the rooms of the refurbished Trianon, funded by Breguet, is very exciting!
