Max C launches heart adorned jumpers
Christmas has well and truly taken the hint and left before it out stayed its welcome, however with the biggest event gone for another 12 months, retailers are looking to the next big money maker.
Cadbury’s Cream eggs have hit the shelves , giving us a not so subtle hint about Easter and other companies are using Valentines day to get us spending.
We know we shouldn’t encourage it, especially as the official day of love is a good few weeks away yet, but we couldn’t help telling you about these kooky jumpers from Max C.
We love part of this range including the cutesy heart adorned cardigan and black cardigan with red sequined hearts. However one cardi in the range reminds us of a more grown up version of “kiss me quick” seaside hats and “I’m available” 18-30′s T-Shirts, and features a not so subliminal “Love me” adorned on the back.
Yes we know we may be being a bit harsh, afterall, slogan style jumpers have been a big hit this year, but we can’t help thinking that this maybe a little bit Bridget Jones rather than Bardot this Valentines day.
Highstreet VS Deigner: Max C and Chanel
High street stores are becoming more style savvy, creating clothes and accessories, which almost mirror those designed by high end brands.
Yes the fabric may not be as plush, and they are probably more prone to wear and tear, but, unless they’re classic wardrobe must haves, do you really need anything more? After all fashion changes so quickly.
So we were really pleased when we spotted this Max C bag, which is similar to Chanel’s quilted bowling bag. We would be more than happy to have this stylish high street alternative on our shoulder especially when you consider the whopping price difference.
Max C comes in at a very reasonable £40 compared to Chanel’s £860. Leaving us more than enough left over to get matching shoes and outfits.
Max C launches a range of bags to fit in with this season’s trends
On Monday we bought you shoes with studs to give you the rock and roll look of the coming season.
But we all know shoes without accessories don’t really do much, especially if it’s without a bag. Thankfully we have found a range of these that will match the shoes and this season’s style perfectly.
The new collection from Max C includes a range of different handbags in different colour leathers and styles including retro. There is also trend fringing, studs, pleats and chain straps.
But we think this bag (pictured) would work brilliantly for a rock and roll studded look.
