If you have close to $7,000 just laying around, then you should definitely consider this Fendi 10th Anniversary baguette available at Net-A-Porter for $6,670! I can’t imagine spending that much money on a handbag, but maybe that’s just me. This limited-edition bag features gray embellishments and silver and black beading with a double F logo buckle and watersnake handle. Inside, the baguette is lined in red satin with a ‘Limited Edition’ bead embroidery. It’s a beautiful bag, but worth $6,670?? What do you think?
Net-a-Porter has a new feature called Runway by Designer that’s basically like being able to click and shop on Style.com. You pick a designer’s runway, like Burberry Prorsum above, and Net-a-Porter gives you pictures of the looks they have for sale. Not only can you just click to get the shoes or outfit you want, but you also get a nice little rundown on the designer’s trends of the season. For instance you can read about Christopher Bailey’s tough-chic collection and advice to accessories with hard-edged extras when you buy the patent leather coat, $5,225, at far left and register for an update when the sandals come in stock. If you’ve got the budget, this could revolutionize how you shop the runway.
Glossy, wet-looking patent leather is a great way to add glamor to a day or evening look. We loved these Jonathan Kelsey two-tone pumps so much, we had to build an outfit around them! Since they serve as the trendy item of the ensemble, we kept the rest fairly simple with a purple cashmere wrap sweater from Bluefly and a Chloe button-down skirt from Net-a-Porter.
