We often dream about being the stunning representative of brands we love, and some celebrities are lucky in this area: expensive watches, make-up, jewellery… You name it. Then there are celebrity endorsements that are just plain weird.
Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts have become the latest to join the club of strange celebrity endorsements after signing on the dotted line to promote a colour of paint. We thought you had your own make-up brand Nicola…
The 27-year-old has appeared in a series of promotional shots for Dulux. As lovely as you look Nicola, this is not our cup of tea. Wonder if you thought you were signing up to endorse safe sex and Durux…
These photos make us want to buy Dulux paint as much as we’d like a payday loan by the company fronted by Kerry Katona.

Nicola Roberts is going back to her ginger roots.
The Girls Aloud singer – who was renowned for her flame-coloured locks when she first became famous – recently dyed her tresses blonde but has now decided she wants to return to being a redhead.
She said: “Some of my fans have tweeted me and said, ‘No, come back to ginge’. But I’m just like, ‘I’m blonde for a minute but I’m still ginge at heart’. I’ll be back!”
“This is nice for a change. I’ve been every single hair colour under the sun, I’ve been dark, dark brown, I’ve been blonde, I’ve been red, I’ve had a bob, I’ve had long hair, I’ve had a fringe, I’ve not had a fringe, I’ve had pink hair. I get bored and I like to swap and change things up, but it’s just hair at the end of the day.”
Nicola has always been proud of her ginger hair and she thinks it makes her stand out.
She said: “I love being known as the ginger one! It’s been my special thing since I was little.
“Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on ginger hair. There’s a saying: ‘Not everyone has to love you, but as long as somebody loves you, then you’ll be OK.’ “

Ginger and red heads have, in the past, had a hard time of it. When Girls Aloud first came out, ginger head Nicola Roberts was quickly transformed into a brunette and her red roots were hurriedly touched up so we forgot about her traditional colourings.
However as the years have passed the red and ginger heads have come out on top with a huge range of celebrities opting to dye their locks this hue.
And it also seems that men are seeing the attraction with Jason Orange reportedly striking up a romance with red head Catherine Tate. We look at the lucky celebrities who are blessed with this hair colour naturally.

Nicola Roberts doesn’t like to stick to one designer.
The flame-haired singer – who recently released her debut album ‘Cinderella’s Eyes’ – believes there are a “lot” of “cool labels” and she would hate to restrict herself to a limited number of outfits.
She said: “I don’t like sticking with one person or thing, ever. There’s a lot of cool labels out there; I’m open minded enough to be a fan of many designers and make a few of their looks work for me. Regardless of how commercial or left-field they are, I respect most designers.
“In London, there’s Henry Holland; I wear loads of his stuff. What else? I love Topshop, I love Moschino in Milan, and I love Bora Aksu. The way Aksu does panelling is quite unique and threads his collections together; I appreciate when anyone can keep a motif cohesive over time.”
In addition to music, 26-year-old Nicola also has a make-up range for pale skinned people – named Dainty Doll – and she reveals she puts a lot of time into making the products right for her market.
She told Rolling Stone: “I’m always working on new ideas for it – it can take months to decide on products, then five months for them to be produced. I’m pleased people have taken us on board and support the brand. Next, we’re hoping to extend our overseas market.”

The stars stepped out last night in sparkles and skyscraper heels to celebrate the Pride of Britain Awards.
Cheryl Cole made her first big public appearance since the whole X Factor US debacle, showing us she was still bang on trend with a pink slinky dress by Victoria Beckham, while bandmate Nicola Roberts also went for an ethereal frock in a similar hue.
The TOWIE cast were also out in force with Amy Childs opting for a blue strapless long frock. She was joined by Sam and Jessica who kept it classic in black frocks.
And black was also the order of the day for Kimberley Walsh who looked stunning in a long black dress with lace sleeves, Coleen Rooney, Holly Willoughby and Emma Bunton.
Brightening up the red carpet was X Factor judge Tulisa who went for a patterned netted frock. See all the fashions in the gallery below.

Gallery, London fashion week, Spotted, Spotted in London
By Elisabeth Edvardsen on September 19th, 2011
Day 3 of London Fashion Week certainly brought out the big names in celebsville and fashion as Mulberry and Matthew Williamson were on the schedule.
Supermodels Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell were seen at Mulberry and Topshop Unique respectively, showing their support for the labels. Actress Sienna Miller was also to be seen at her friend Matthew Williamson’s show. An Erdem-clad Vogue US editor Anna Wintour had also jetted into town and was spotted frow (that’s fashion speak for front row) at Matthew Williamson, Nicole Farhi and the Topshop Unique show. The latter certainly shows the power Topshop holds on both sides of the Atlantic these days. Singer Kelis was also at Waterloo for the Unique show to see what Topshop has planned for spring/summer 2012
But where was Paloma Faith and her wonderful outfits??

Katie Price has slagged off Cheryl Cole’s sense of style in her new magazine, “Katie”. Excuse me while I split my sides laughing. Oh goodness, where do I even begin..
The failed fashion designer, model, novelist and singer has now turned her hand to running her own magazine “Katie” – which apparently includes bitchy commentary about other celebrities, and right now Cheryl Cole is in the firing line for that colour-blocked orange and purple outfit that she wore during her brief stint as a judge for the US X Factor.
Katie furiously (ghost)wrote about Cheryl’s admittedly bad fashion choices: “The whole thing is absolutely hideous. I don’t know who’s responsible for the outfit and the horrific hair but I hope Cheryl sacked them. It looks like she’s put on weight.” Madam Price, I am sorry but you are the last person who can talk about horrific hair.
The ex page three girl also slammed Cheryl’s bandmate Nicola Roberts for her fashion choices. “She always gets it wrong. She is trying to be unique but she doesn’t have the confidence to carry it off.” Katie, you can’t carry anything off.
The whole thing is a little bit ridiculous, and the only words that came to mind when I read this gossip was “Pot. Kettle. Black.” Am I right?

It was a busy weekend and week for A-listers with many dressing up and hitting events.
Kick starting our best dressed list today is Jennifer Aniston who turned up in a white beaded dress for the Horrible Bosses London premiere, while brights were on the cards for some of the Girls Aloud girls who turned up to support Kimberley Walsh at the Horrid Henry premiere.
Kimberley went for an orange short dress, while Sarah Harding looked hot in a nude knitted frock.
However, it was Nicola Roberts who stole the show in a yellow print maxi dress.
Over in LA Ashley Greene looked stunning in a zebra print frock at the Breaking Dawn photocall at Comic Con. Her co-star Kristen Stewart also looked hot in a sheer white blouse with contrasting black bra.
See all the star style above.

Nicola Roberts has finally accepted her nose.
The Girls Aloud star has always hated her nose because it has a “bump” in it but has decided against having surgery to correct it because it’s part of her.
Nicola – who has recently had hair extensions and veneers – told attitude magazine: “I had short hair for so long and I was bored that I couldn’t do anything with it. I wanted a high pony, so I put in hair extensions. I want to be able to smile and not think, I hate my teeth.’ I don’t like my nose, but changing it is an extreme too far. It makes me who I am and OK, I’ve got a bump in my nose, but f**k it. Some people have got bog ears, some people have got big bums, everybody’s different.”
Nicola says everybody has insecurities about their looks, which is why people wear make-up.
She said: “I always say that you have to love yourself, and once you do, other people will become more comfortable with who you are as a person and I still string stand by that. If anyone was happy with how they looked then they wouldn’t wear make-up. You have to make yourself happy as well.”

Nicola Roberts would love to design her own range of shoes.
The Girls Aloud singer – who is renowned for her fashion choices – has recently created a pair of shoes to accompany her debut solo album ‘Cinderella Eyes’ and admitted working on her own shoe collection would be a dream come true.
She said: “I love fashion and I love the way that clothes can make you feel. I also kind of respect it so much that I would never just take my position for granted in the fact that would just throw a clothing line out. I would love to do a shoe collection. I have just designed a shoe for the album campaign because the record is called Cinderella’s eyes it’s my take on the modern day glass slipper, so to have fun with something like a shoe collection would be amazing.”
Nicola has previously developed her own make-up range Dainty Doll and is thrilled high street pharmacy Boots will now be selling the brand online and in stores.
Talking to Alex Baker on Gaydar Radio, she said: “The whole team is so proud that we have managed to get Boots on board. They’re backing the brand which is just incredible. It is a dream come true in terms of developing the makeup range. It is a store that I grew up going into and real women and real girls go into everyday and to be able have my line in there is just really amazing.”
