The baby boom is well and truly here.
Last year a huge amount of celebrities, namely Victoria Beckham and Natalie Portman, gave birth.
However, over the weekend a new yummy mummy joined the baby crew and that’s of course Beyonce who gave birth to a little girl Ivy Blue Carter.
We’ve therefore decided to revise our list of celebrity mums and draw up a new top five.
Victoria Beckham makes the list for her style throughout her pregnancy and after the birth, while Natalie Portman also makes the grade as a result of her fab maternity wear.

Beyonce Knowles’ house is a “no-TV zone” over the festive period.
The ‘Halo’ hitmaker is currently expecting her first child with husband Jay-Z and the couple are both so busy during the year that they prefer to focus on quality family time over Christmas rather than relaxing in front of the TV.
Beyonce said: “I will be with family. We are both so busy throughout the year that Christmas is just a time to relax with family and count the many blessings in your life.
“Christmas Day is a no-TV zone. We just like to sit and talk together as a family.”
Although she refused to reveal what she will buy her husband, the singer can’t wait to purchase lots of gifts for their unborn baby.
She said: “I can’t say, it has to be a surprise! Seriously, though, we both keep seeing super-cute stuff for the baby, so I am sure even our presents for each other will involve the baby in some way!
“Also Kelly [Rowland] has been so busy buying gifts for the baby, I think she might forget to buy for me this year! She is always seeing cute gifts for the baby in London.”

A big congrats to Lily Allen who has given birth to a baby girl.
The Not Fair hitmaker and husband Sam Cooper are believed to have welcomed their first child into the world this weekend, though her spokesperson declined to comment.
However, a friend told the Mail Online website that the birth had been “all good”, while Lily’s former boyfriend Seb Chew tweeted: “sending out love to lily, sam and mini cooper……YES.(sic)”
Earlier today, Lily took to her page on the social networking website to simply write: “Totes amaze (sic)”
The news comes just over a year after the 26-year-old star lost the couple’s baby six months into her pregnancy.
The singer – who also suffered a miscarriage in January 2008 – and Sam married in June, and the pair broke the news they were expecting a baby at the wedding reception.
A source said at the time: “There were tears all around. This is the happiest day of Lily and Sam’s lives and they are so in love. This is the icing on the wedding cake!”

Beyonce Knowles was terrified people would realise she was pregnant before she was ready to announce it.
The ‘(Run the World) Girls’ hitmaker and her rapper husband Jay-Z are expecting their first child together in February and while Beyonce revealed the good news at the end of August, she was sure people would guess her secret when she played a series of concerts in New York earlier that month.
Speaking at the New York screening for her new concert DVD ‘Beyonce Live at Roseland’, she said: “The whole time I definitely was thinking, ‘Everyone knows, everyone can see.’
“When you’re pregnant, it’s a little bit harder to breathe, so it was hard doing all the choreography and singing at the same time.”
Although Beyonce managed to keep her pregnancy a secret until she was ready to reveal it, her Destiny’s Child bandmate Kelly Rowland recently accidently let it slip that the singer is expecting a little girl.
She said: “I’m so happy for my sister and her husband. They’re so happy in this moment right now, as they should be. They’ve made a little bundle of love, I’m so excited for them.
“I have no idea what I’m going to buy Beyonce at the baby shower because Jay is going to buy that little girl every single thing possible. She won’t be spoilt but she will be very well looked-after.
“I’ll be on hand for babysitting duties and I’m actually very good with messy diapers!”

Beyonce Knowles is not nervous about being a mother.
The 30-year-old singer is expecting her first baby with husband Jay-Z – who she married in April 2008 – and feels “blessed” that everything in her personal life is going well.
In an interview with new! magazine, she said: “It’s going really well, I am so happy with everything right now.
“I am not nervous because I know it’s happening at the right time. I felt I got married at the right time for me, and now we are having the baby at the right time. I feel like we didn’t rush anything, and now we are being blessed with everything naturally.”
Beyonce has also praised Jay-Z – whose real name is Shawn Carter – describing him as her “best friend” and says she can always rely on him for support in every part of her life.
She said: “He is my best friend, and I am so blessed to have him as my husband. We have been together since I was 20, and he is my rock during everything.”

We’ve all been waiting for this to happen for soooooo long, but Beyonce and Jay-Z, the best celebrity couple in the world ever, are definitely expecting their first child.
At the VMAs on Saturday night, Beyonce made it very clear that she is definitely pregnant as she posed on the red carpet in a slouchy orange dress with her hands clutching her visible baby bump, telling the press, “I have a surprise!”
The “Run The World (Girls)” singer took to the stage later in the evening and sang “Love On Top” while proudly showing off her quite evident bump to her fans while Jay-Z watched with a great big grin on his face. Ain’t love grand?
For any sceptics that may remain unconvinced (yeah yeah, we know there have been false rumours about Beyonce having a baby before), her publicist went on the record after the VMAs, telling People.com, “I’m happy to say it’s true.”
Beyonce has been talking for some time about how she’s determined to become a mother: “When you’re young – 18 or 19 – you have the energy and drive. That’s the time to work as hard as you can. Now I’m a woman, and because I gave it my all, I can focus on my marriage. I can decide I want to have kids. I can be the mother I want to be and dedicate myself to my children.”

As many of you already know I’m joining the celebrity trend of having a baby.
That’s right, next month I’ll have a little bundle of joy that I’ll no doubt be trying to give a celebrity style name to, although I draw the line at putting numbers in there – no offence Victoria Beckham.
Of course with such a big change I’m going to need some adjusting so I’m taking a little bit of leave, which starts today.
However, fear not as I’ll be back in October to continue with all the fashion news and gossip.
In the meantime, while I suffer from fashion withdrawl, I’ll leave you in the very capable hands of the Shiny team and the lovely Emily Borrett.

Lily Allen has been learning how to make cushions.
The pregnant singer revealed she is not “rock ‘n’ roll” anymore since her wedding to Sam Cooper last month and has now taken up knitting and embroidery after setting up home in the countryside in Cranham, Gloucestershire, South West Englan, with her new husband.
She said: “I’m being taught how to knit. I’m so not rock ‘n’ roll anymore. I’m embroidering too. I’m actually in the process of making cushions.”
Although she is enjoying a quieter way of life, Lily – who is on hiatus from her pop career – does miss performing live, but has a lot of preparations to make ahead of the arrival of her baby.
She added: “When I go to gigs and stuff, I get a slight pang of envy and I think, ‘Oh I do miss being up on that stage.’ But I have other priorities at the moment.”
Lily – who tragically lost her baby last November when she was six months pregnant – took to twitter recently to reveal she is suffering from common side effects of pregnancy, morning sickness and hot flushes.
She tweeted: “Aah the joys of pregnancy, just got papped vomiting on Bond Street.
“Oooh, its proper raining in Gloucestershire today. Does not feel like July at all, but that’s good cause I’m preggers and hating the heat. (sic)”

Kate Hudson is Dannii Minogue’s summer style icon.
The Australian star loves the “relaxed” look of the ‘Fool’s Gold’ actress – who gave birth to a baby boy over the weekend – and says the blonde beauty is the ideal poster girl for her Project D fashion line.
She explained: “Kate Hudson is our Project D icon for relaxed boho summer chic.
“She makes me want to run around in a maxi dress on an island, and dream of looking as healthy and relaxed as she seems to be 24/7.”
Dannii is also an admirer of ‘Horrible Bosses’ actress Jennifer Aniston and the newest member of the British royal family, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.
She explained: “Jennifer Aniston always has the ultimate glowing summer skin, year round. How does she do it?
“We all want to look as good as Catherine does in a bikini – and if we did, that’s all we would wear.”
Dannii plans to take inspiration from Kate when she hosts a barbecue this summer.
She told Britain’s Glamour magazine: “The 1970s are huge this season, and a 70s-style maxi dress with flip-flops is the perfect combo for outdoor entertaining.
“The flats are ideal for drifting around the garden on a sunny afternoon and you can hitch up your dress while sitting on the lawn to get some sun on your legs.”

Lily Allen has been spending her honeymoon in Paris.
The pop star and her new husband Sam Cooper have enjoyed a visit to the French capital where they have shopping and dining out before they head to the Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, South West England, for the second leg of their post-wedding holiday.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Lily’s been really chilling out after the stress of organising the wedding.
“They shopped in Zara and Chanel on Tuesday (21.06.11) and had dinner at Chez Dumonet in the evening.”
However, Lily – who is pregnant – has admitted Paris was not her first choice of honeymoon destination.
She wrote on her twitter page: “Paris was not my1st choice, but I’ve been advised not to fly by doctors, and it’s about as exotic as one can get without doing so (sic)”
The ‘Not Fair’ singer also complained about the paparazzi who followed her around Paris.
In another tweet, she revealed: “Really enjoying the Parisian papparazzis presence on my honeymoon. Thank god we didn’t want to go for a romantic stroll as husband and wife. (sic)”
Lily and Sam will arrive at Glastonbury over the next couple of days and the pair have spent £8,000 on a VIP yurt tent backstage at the festival.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “The yurts are magical and spiritual. They’re silk lined, romantic and the most luxurious and chilled out way to enjoy the festival.
“They come with a double bed covered with Egyptian cotton sheets, a champagne fridge, sheep-skin rugs and chandeliers. We even give our guests slippers. We want them to feel 100 per cent at home and happy.
“The yurts are so romantic. We can cover the beds with rose petals and they’re perfect for romantic star-gazing at night.”

Lily Allen admits her fashion range isn’t “ground breaking”.
The ‘Not Fair’ hitmaker – who married building firm boss Sam Cooper on Saturday admits she and her sister Sarah Owen don’t do the actual designs for their Lucy in Disguise label and knows their collections are unlikely to change the face of fashion.
She said: “Sarah and me work with a designer called Nadia Jones. We tell her what we want and she does the sketches.
“We were inspired by vintage clothing – we’re not doing anything ground breaking.”
Lily also admitted working with her sister can be “challenging”, but she is more honest with her about her feelings than she is with anyone else in their company.
She told more! magazine: “It’s challenging. It can be a struggle with family members. It’s difficult not to be honest all the time. There’s a lot of tongue biting.
“Crispin, who I work with, and I disagree about stuff, but I always hold back because we’re not related. There’s a lot more horrible stuff I could say! But yeah, with my sister, when she starts to irritate me I just want to pull a face. But I don’t think everyone else in the office would like it very much.”

Lily Allen is pregnant.
The singer’s new husband Sam Cooper announced the happy news to the couple’s friends and family during his speech at their wedding reception over the weekend.
A friend of the couple is quoted by the MailOnline website as saying: “There were tears all around. This is the happiest day of Lily and Sam’s lives and they are so in love. This is the icing on the wedding cake!”
Lily is believed to be 16 weeks pregnant and Sam decided to include the announcement in his speech after they went for the 12-week scan and were told the baby is developing healthily.
The happy news comes seven months after the 26-year-old singer tragically lost her and Sam’s baby six months into the pregnancy last November.
Earlier in the day, Lily and Sam tied the knot at the St James the Great church in Cranham, near Stroud, Gloucestershire, South West England, before the newlyweds and their guests headed to the couple’s £3 million mansion for the reception which is being held in a marquee in their garden.
Lily wore a lace wedding dress designed by Delphine Manivet and guests included her actor-and-comedian father Keith Allen, comic Harry Enfield and her brother Alfie.
The ‘Smile’ singer’s half-sister Sarah Owen – who also attended the nuptials – previously revealed her sibling and Sam planned to try for a baby in 2011 following last year’s tragedy.
Sarah – who runs vintage London clothes shop Lucy in Disguise – said: “They’re going to start trying (for a baby) in the New Year.
“New Year, new start. Losing the baby totally devastated her … But Lily is absolutely determined to be a mum. This is what she wants more than anything in the whole wide world, more than her singing career.”
In January 2008, Lily suffered a miscarriage when she was dating Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons.

Kim Kardashian is hoping to get pregnant by the “end of the year”.
The 30-year-old socialite – whose basketball star boyfriend Kris Humphries proposed last month with a 20.5 carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring – has revealed the couple will have started trying for their first child by the time 2011 draws to a close.
Asked whether they are hoping to become parents anytime soon, Kim said: “I hope so, I really hope so. Maybe by the end of the year. Well, I won’t have a baby by the end of the year, but maybe we’ll start trying by the end of the year. After the wedding.”
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star also revealed she will be keeping her current surname once she ties the knot with Kris, but will be known as “Mrs. Humphries” at home.
She added: “I think at home and privately, for sure I’ll be Mrs. Humphries. Maybe I will make it Kim Kardashian-Humphries, but I think I will always have Kardashian for work. But at home, Humphries.”
Kim has made no secret of her desire to have a large family, but recently admitted she had scaled down her plans for six children after seeing how difficult it has been for her sister Kourtney Kardashian to raise her 18-month-old son Mason.
She said: “I do want kids. I want four. I started at six a few years ago.
“I’ve always wanted a big family. But seeing how much hard work brining up Mason is for Kourt has given me a reality check. I don’t think I’ll be rushing into that just yet!”
