Kate Hudson on Late Night With David Letterman last night

By Andrea Kiliany Thatcher on January 6th, 2009

Everyone’s talking about Kate Hudson’s red carpet turn with co-star Anne Hathaway at the premiere of their new flick Bride Wars, but we were much more interested in Hudson’s look for Letterman last night.

Hudson matched her sparkly green Pucci dress with green earrings and even green eye shadow. HD TV was not kind to the look, while it seems more stylish in these photos. The black tights and shoes were obviously a good choice with the statement-making sequin print.

Nonprescription sunglasses sales totalled $2.12 billion last year with 112 million pairs sold, but they’re largely a very small, very plastic accessory. While the vast majority of sunglasses sold cost less than $30, the remaining 11 million pairs make up more than half of the business.
