Golden Globe Awards 2011: Jennifer Love Hewitt wears Ramona Keveza

By Andrea Petrou on January 16th, 2011

She may have slipped from the spotlight in the past few years, but Jennifer Love Hewitt really made a style comeback tonight at the Golden Globe Awards.
The actress went for an ice-blue Ramona Keveza gown – although if you glanced at this you’d be forgiven for thinking it was bridal white – with an origami-style embellished bust.
She teamed this up with diamond stud earrings, borrowed from her mum and a thin bangle.

Golden Globe Awards: Scarlett Johansson wears Elie Saab

By Andrea Petrou on January 16th, 2011

We’ve got lots of galleries lined up for you and as soon as we get the pics we’ll be bringing you all the red carpet dresses from the Glee girls, Angelina Jolie, Helena Bonham Carter and lots more.

However, while we eagerly await the pics we thought we’d focus on the gorgeous Scarlett Johansson, who like many stars this year looked hot hot hot. The starlet opted for an on-trend nude embellished frock by Elie Saab complete with sheer sleeves – another hot red carpet trend this year – and a short train.

She’s definitely one of our best dressed.

Golden Globe awards 2011: Natalie Portman wears Viktor & Rolf

By Andrea Petrou on January 16th, 2011

Natalie Portman has surprised us all, she’s shunned her usual designers and gone for a stunning frock by Viktor & Rolf, a name popular with the likes of Rihanna and Lady Gaga.
The actress who is nominated for her role in Black Swan, looked absolutely stunning in the pale pink satin floaty dress with red flower detailing, which skimmed her baby bump.

She completed her look with an up do and chunky sandals – easily the best dressed so far.

We’ll bring you the pictures as soon as we get them.

Kelly Rowland, Natasha Bedingfield and Rihanna work the short silver numbers at the Brit Awards

By Andrea Thatcher on February 21st, 2008

We love a good party dress, and by the looks of things so do these ladies. At the 2008 Brit Awards (think Grammys) last night Kelly Rowland, Natasha Bedingfield and Rihanna all address different trends with their short silver frocks. Rowland chooses feathers, which we must say never completely took off (har har), Bedingfield chooses a sparkly dress which may be our favorite, and Rihanna goes with a more ladylike, fitted dress with a bell skirt. It looks like she cut at least 5 inches off that skirt to show off her gams. I hope she doesn’t have to bend over to pick anything up. But I think Rihanna does win the best shoe prize for her dainty ankle strap pumps.

7th on Sale Gala brings out celebrities like the Olsen twins, Kate Bosworth and Kate Moss

By Andrea Thatcher on November 16th, 2007

The girls over at sister-site Catwalk Queen have been busy choosing their favorite dresses from last night’s 7th on Sale gala, and we’re ready to do the same. The three day sample sale was kicked off in glamorous style with Elle Macpherson, Valentino Garavani, Iman, and Kate Moss on the red carpet. It was classic black for these fashion big names, no toying with colours. Elle wore a simple strapless black dress, with pleated detail on the hip, while Iman’s dress featured tiers of ruffles, with metallic silver accents and a sheer top. Valentino and Kate prefered sleek black blazers, well Valentino is actually wearing a three-piece suit.

New York Film Festival fashion – Jennifer Hudson, Michelle Williams and Cate Blanchett

By Andrea Thatcher on October 10th, 2007

The New York Film Festival is in full swing and we’re seeing some great fashion at premieres and parties. Above we have Jennifer Hudson in a figure-flattering halter dress at New Line Cinema’s 40th Anniversary Gala at the Lincoln Center. Next we have an adorable Michelle Williams at the premiere of “I’m Not There.” Sporting a short bob with a short dress, her peep-toe slingbacks complete the look. Her costar in the film, Cate Blanchette manages not to look matronly next to the sprite, but elegant and sophisticated in a drape-neck dress. For more New York happenings check out New York Cool.
