Britney Spears partied until 4am to celebrate her engagement on Friday.
The ‘Hold It Against Me’ singer threw a joint engagement and 40th birthday party for her fiance Jason Trawick at the Chateau club in Las Vegas, spending money on Dom Perignon champagne and a chocolate fountain to adorn the room.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Britney made sure there was plenty of Dom Perignon champagne flowing throughout the bash. She had a couple of glasses herself. She stayed until 4am when she and Jason returned to their 50th floor suite.”
Writing on twitter, Britney said: “Tonight was one of the most magical nights of my life. Such an amazing time with my new fiance and our closest friends and family. Blessed. (sic)”
Meanwhile, Neil Lane, the designer responsible for designing the engagement ring Jason gave to Britney has revealed he has been creating the piece of jewellery – which features one main diamond and 90 smaller gems on an eternity band – for some time while she has been touring the world.
He told People: “Jason is a romantic and when I asked him to tell me about Britney and what the ring would represent to them so I could find inspiration, his response was always the same – she is a princess.
“Texts came from all over the world, from Abu Dhabi to Mexico and I don’t know where else.”
Despite the ring being created when he was away, Jason was delighted with the final piece hen he went to pick it up from his store in Los Angeles.
Neil added: “Oh my god he loved it. The guy was so excited and nervous. At the end of the day, even with all the fame, he’s still a normal guy who was about to propose to the woman he loves.”

You may remember that a while back we looked at the boutique online jewellers Chelsea Doll, whose speciality was a charming blend of quirkiness, with a few of the current trends mixed in for good measure. Well, it’s been a while since we had a look at their site, and we have to say that this is a boutique who has only gone from strength to strength since we were last there. Once selling a limited selection of their sweet designs, now they have absolutely masses to choose from – and there’s something for everybody.
If it’s cutesy, ironic kitsch that you’re after, as seen in the past few seasons at Louis Vuitton and and Miu Miu, then Chelsea Doll is the place to look. Birds, insects, vintage homewares and flowers – all key themes in Chelsea Doll design which will add a cute twist to any outfit.
Our absolute favourite piece is the frankly adorable “Birdsong” necklace, which is a row of tiny sparkling birds on a silver chain. How very Miu Miu! Or if you want to go further down the opposite route to toughen up your outfit, there’s a great series of skull jewellery which will add a great twist to a party dress or girlie outfit – we absolutely love their scarlet crystal-studded skull earrings.

Kate Moss wants Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones to play at her upcoming wedding to Jamie Hince.
The British supermodel – who is tying the knot with rocker Jamie on July 2 – has reportedly drawn up a long list of acts she is keen to have perform at the couple’s nuptials in the hope of turning the event into a “mini Glastonbury” festival.
As well as Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones, the 37-year-old catwalk queen is also believed to be firing off calls to Duran Duran, The Clash, Kanye West, Primal Scream and close pal, Gossip frontwoman Beth Ditto.
An insider explained: “Kate is pulling out the big guns for her wedding. She has drawn up her dream list of artists she wants to play and is wasting no time asking them. A lot of them are her mates and shouldn’t have any problem doing a number.
“Her pals are dubbing it Kate’s mini-Glasto from the line-up she has in mind. It’s turning into a whole weekend celebration.”
However, while the pair are hoping to secure an A-list line-up of performers for their wedding, her huge guest list is proving problematic when it comes to finding a venue big enough to accommodate Kate, Jamie and their showbiz pals.
The source added to Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “After weeks of searching, there are options but Kate’s out-growing them with her guest list. She has been worrying about it as it’s getting so big and she’s reluctant to take anyone off.
“She wants to invite everyone who has been there for her since she was young.”

Last week we gushingly wrote up the marvel that is Asos Marketplace and put up a gallery of some of our favourite pieces from the online boutique “Never Fully Dressed”. But today we’re going to look at their amazing jewellery section, which sells beautiful, ornate statement pieces that are a snip coming in at under twenty pounds. If dainty jewelry isn’t your thing and you have a hard time finding items that suit your edgier aesthetic, then Dirty Librarian Chains designer Susan Domelsmith knows exactly how you feel. Domelsmith began her jewelry line after she couldn’t find jewelry to fit her style. According to dirtylibrarianchains.com, the designer wanted to find jewelry “that possessed an edgy, understated and yet slightly askew elegance.”
She began by finding vintage chains that she put back together through knotting and tangling, to create pieces that could be both dressed up and dressed down. Because the pieces are all created from vintage chains, many are one of a kind or only made in small batches.

If you love diamond jewelry, but don’t like blood on your hands, than conflict free diamond jewelry is for you. Many diamonds sold in America are mined in war zones, where their profits have gone to warlords and insurgencies. Diamond diggers are also subject to violence, famine and even death. Instead of buying these diamonds, you can buy diamonds made in ethically sound mines and from companies that are environmentally responsible.
One such company, Brilliant Earth, was founded after Eric Grossberg couldn’t find a blood free diamond for his fiancée Beth Gerstein. They decided to form Brilliant Earth together so that people can buy fairly made diamond jewelry. Brilliant Earth also donates five percent of all profits to Diamonds for Africa, which aids African communities.
