New York Fashion Week: Lindsay and Samantha at Charlotte Ronson Fall 2009

Unfortunately, her famous family (and their significant others) remains the best thing about Charlotte Ronson’s fashion line, as far as I can tell. Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan were on hand for the fall 09 collection, as were Mark Ronson and The Like drummer Tennessee Thomas. The clothing was sort of amateurish styling of Marc Jacobs parodies. I did like the floral print used, and the floral shirt dress after the jump was one of the pieces I enjoyed from the show.

At the top of the Hollywould celebrity gossip ladder is Lindsay Lohan. And at the top of the model fashion industry ladder is Jessica Stam. Invite them both to the same show, along with a Gossip Girl, and have your famous DJ brother Mark Ronson spin while his girlfriend Daisy Lowe struts the catwalk, and you’re inviting pandemonium.

Charlotte Ronson moves to the tents

Looks like Charlotte Ronson has hit the big time, showing her spring 2009 collection, her sixth, in the Bryant Park tents.

Ronson’s siblings – D.J. and possible Lindsay Lohan paramour Samantha Ronson, and brother Mark Ronson (a D.J./musician as well) – tend to come out to support one another for big events. Does this mean we can look for Lindsay in the tents? Could help the celebrity shortage…

“It wasn’t really a sudden decision, it’s been a progression,” Ronson told Fashion Week Daily. “It’s very exciting for me to know that at this stage of my fashion career, I am able to show in the Tents. At the same time, I am nervous and overwhelmed at the thought. Being in the Tents has always implied a certain status and achievement as well as recognition within the fashion world. I am thrilled and feel honored.”
