Beyonce Knowles’ house is a “no-TV zone” over the festive period.
The ‘Halo’ hitmaker is currently expecting her first child with husband Jay-Z and the couple are both so busy during the year that they prefer to focus on quality family time over Christmas rather than relaxing in front of the TV.
Beyonce said: “I will be with family. We are both so busy throughout the year that Christmas is just a time to relax with family and count the many blessings in your life.
“Christmas Day is a no-TV zone. We just like to sit and talk together as a family.”
Although she refused to reveal what she will buy her husband, the singer can’t wait to purchase lots of gifts for their unborn baby.
She said: “I can’t say, it has to be a surprise! Seriously, though, we both keep seeing super-cute stuff for the baby, so I am sure even our presents for each other will involve the baby in some way!
“Also Kelly [Rowland] has been so busy buying gifts for the baby, I think she might forget to buy for me this year! She is always seeing cute gifts for the baby in London.”

Cheryl Cole owns 2,000 pairs of shoes.
The ‘Promise This’ hitmaker – who recently unveiled her first footwear collection through website Stylistpick – admits she has developed a “fetish” for shoes in recent years, and has to hoard pairs in her kitchen cupboards.
She said: “I’ve always, always loved shoes, but over the past few years, I’ve definitely developed a proper fetish.
“I actually own about 2,000 pairs – and that’s after giving quite a few away. I’m a bit weird with them. There are shoes I don’t wear any more but I just can’t part with them. I hoard them all over the house – in cupboards in the kitchen, in the bathroom, every room. There’s a big chance when you open the fridge in my house there will be a pair of shoes at the bottom.”
The 28-year-old beauty admits her opinion on footwear is a bit “bonkers” because she links all of them to memories past.
She told Britain’s Grazia magazine: “My absolute favourite are a lace pair of Louboutins. I wore them the first ever time I went to Cannes, two years ago. For me, all shoes have memories – wearing them on a certain occasion like that means the shoe gets that memory.
“If I can’t wear them again I also can’t get rid of them, because they are so linked to that emotion. I’m probably a bit bonkers like that.”

Rihanna has unveiled her debut fashion line.
The ‘We Found Love’ hitmaker has created a capsule collection for Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans – both of whom she already fronts advertising campaigns for – comprising of denim and lingerie featuring her R logo and the fashion house’s signature eagle.
The collection includes biker jackets, a canvas rucksack, two styles of jeans – skinny and tight boys cut – t-shirts emblazoned with silhouettes of the singer’s face or animal print designs and lace underwear that come in navy blue and pearl grey.
Rihanna has previously revealed she likes to shock people with her fashion choices.
Talking about her future look, she said: “I probably see a lot of menswear, or something extremely, extremely feminine. But I like to play with both. It would have to be so extreme that it’s a look, because I don’t usually like typical ladylike, girly-girly stuff. It would be a look if I were to do it. I always like something that’s a little off, so it’s just not typical or expected.”

Jennifer Lopez likes to dress in a “classic” way.
The singer-and-actress says she doesn’t really go for trendy items of clothing and would rather pay homage to old school Hollywood glamour.
She said: “I just do what I feel when it comes to my style. Even though I love things that are modern and new, I don’t really go big on trends that much – I keep it classic. I like a touch of sexiness and I love glamour – old school Hollywood glamour. I also come from the Bronx area in New York and grew up in the hip-hop in the hip-hop area, so that style is very ingrained in me.”
Jennifer, 42, also revealed how she is very involved with the clothes she wears on the red carpet as she wants her outfit to “represent” her.
The mother-of-two told LOOK magazine: “I’m very involved. The stylist can bring a rack of clothes, but at the end of the day I have to pick what I’m going to wear. Although they can put an outfits together, the truth is that it has to represent me.”

The singer Adele has admitted that she’s dying to have Christopher Bailey, creative director of Burberry, style her for the next upcoming awards season.
Adele is already having a major fashion moment right now, having just made the cover of UK Vogue – but we think seeing the singer decked out in Burberry would be the icing on the cake. Apparently, they’re already planning a style collaboration. Oh, to be a celebrity…
The Someone Like You singer told Vogue: “I love old school. Chanel, Prada, you know. And Burberry, definitely. I’ve met Christopher Bailey a few times. He’s definitely going to dress me for the next lot of awards – if I’m nominated. I’ve always loved Burberry. I remember saving for three years to get my first bag before I got signed. Five hundred quid, I think it was, made of canvas with the logo like a satchel.”
Okay, now I’m just gonna put something out there. Burberry, if you get bored of styling Adele, I’d also like to be styled by you for awards season. I know I won’t be invited or anything – just something beautiful to wear while I watch it on TV, really… No? Oh, okay then.

The late Amy Winehouse’s prodigal god-daughter, Dionne Bromfield, has been confirmed to be performing at the LOOK magazine fashion show during London Fashion Week, for the same show that Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding is making her catwalk debut in.
This isn’t Dionne’s first taste of the fashion world, because she’s already the face of the streetwear brand Gio Gio. Last year Diana Vickers performed at the LOOK catwalk, so Dionne is following in the footsteps of other quirky, up-and-coming singers.
We’ve always loved LOOK fashion shows for their ability to turn regular high-street clothes, style them cleverly and turn the whole thing into a proper fashion event. The magazine uses some of the UK’s best-loved high street brands such as Urban Outfitters, Miss Selfridge, River Island and Oasis.
Ali Hall, Editor of Look, said: “The Look Show has become an established part of London Fashion Week and readers absolutely love it. We’re thrilled to be working with Westfield to make this season’s show bigger and better than ever, and to be part of such an exciting retail launch.”

We’ve all been waiting for this to happen for soooooo long, but Beyonce and Jay-Z, the best celebrity couple in the world ever, are definitely expecting their first child.
At the VMAs on Saturday night, Beyonce made it very clear that she is definitely pregnant as she posed on the red carpet in a slouchy orange dress with her hands clutching her visible baby bump, telling the press, “I have a surprise!”
The “Run The World (Girls)” singer took to the stage later in the evening and sang “Love On Top” while proudly showing off her quite evident bump to her fans while Jay-Z watched with a great big grin on his face. Ain’t love grand?
For any sceptics that may remain unconvinced (yeah yeah, we know there have been false rumours about Beyonce having a baby before), her publicist went on the record after the VMAs, telling People.com, “I’m happy to say it’s true.”
Beyonce has been talking for some time about how she’s determined to become a mother: “When you’re young – 18 or 19 – you have the energy and drive. That’s the time to work as hard as you can. Now I’m a woman, and because I gave it my all, I can focus on my marriage. I can decide I want to have kids. I can be the mother I want to be and dedicate myself to my children.”

For a launch party at Selfridges, Ellie rejected the traditional cocktail dress for a vintage leather jacket with a prim high-necked blouse and hotpants that manages to be cool and sexy at the same time
Seeing the photos of Britain’s own Ellie Goulding performing at the legendary Lollapalooza Festival in the States made us swell up with national pride (which is hard to come by if you’ve been following the news in London for the past couple of days). We haven’t seen many British singers as young and fresh-faced as Ellie be so successful so quickly, so good on the girl.
Not only is the singer-songwriter super-talented but she’s got a sense of style that we really admire; she manages to fly the flag for quirky British style and nail the trends without looking too pretentious or try-hard at all. Whether she’s spotted slouching around London in a baggy T-shirt with skinny jeans or a dress for an awards ceremony, Ellie always pulls it off.

Nicole Scherzinger cries when Lewis Hamilton hears her music.
The former Pussycat Dolls singer says her Formula 1 ace boyfriend has a “great ear” for picking out a good song so she always feels proud when he praises her work.
She said: “He’s great. It’s satisfying to play him stuff and for him to say, ‘It’s really good babe,’ and it makes me teary-eyed because he has such a great ear.”
While he is a fan of her music, Lewis does not enjoy being a passenger when Nicole is driving.
She added: “I think Lewis would rather be behind the wheel than me.
“I have kind of a heavy foot because I’m always late for everything so I’m always rushing around.”
Nicole also admitted her relationship can be “challenging” because of their respective work commitments, but she likes that they are able to keep it interesting.
She told Now magazine: “I don’t know how we make it work but somehow we manage.
“We live in two different countries so it can be challenging but it makes things interesting.”

Pixie Lott has signed with Select Models Management.
The singer says she’s thrilled to be working with such a prestigious agency because fashion has always played such an important role in her life.
The 20-year-old beauty – who has her own clothing range with British high street store Lipsy – said: “I’ve always loved experimenting with different looks and styles through work – it’s one of the perks of the job! I’ve always been surrounded by clothes, and I love fashion and accessorising. I’ve learnt a lot about what works and what doesn’t, which has helped to build my confidence and interest in fashion. Music and fashion go together well for me as they are both very expressive. I was asked to design a range for Lipsy, which was a great way to experiment more, and now I’ve got the opportunity to immerse myself in fashion at another level which is really exciting. Being with Select is like getting my first real fashion job after an apprenticeship!”
Legendary model scout Tandy Anderson, of Select Model Management, told vogue.co.uk: “Pixie is stunning. he has presence, style, an infectious personality, and has already caught the eye of various designers and photographers, from Dolce & Gabbana to Ellen Von Unwerth. She’s a talented and successful musician and we are confident that as a model, she can enjoy similar success.”

Pixie Lott won’t leave home without accessories.
The ‘Cry Me Out’ hitmaker feels uncomfortable if she hasn’t teamed her outfit with large amounts of jewellery or flowers in her hair.
She said: “My fashion mantra is make it your own. You can take a simple dress and put personality into it by adding your own little touches.
“I won’t leave home without accessorising. I don’t feel right without rings on every finger, an armful of bangles or flowers in my hair.
“My jewellery box is full of Disney Couture, Rock ‘N Rose, Tiffany & Co and trinkets that belong to my gran.”
Pixie has vowed to expand her wardrobe for the summer by experimenting with different colours.
She told Now magazine: “My summer style resolution is to inject more colour into my wardrobe.
“This season is all about bold colour blocking and clashing brights, so I’ve just bought a pair of colour pop blue wedges. I have more fun with fashion when the sun’s out.”

Jennifer Lopez has had to shell out $6,000 to clean her swimming pool after her son did a poo in it.
The ‘On The Floor’ hitmaker – who has three-year-old twins Max and Emme with husband Marc Anthony – had to pay to have her pool professionally cleaned after Max had an accident while potty training at the couple’s California home.
Marc explained: “He had an accident in the pool and it got into the filter system and they charged us to clean it. That was expensive. He took a $6,000 dump in the pool.”
The Grammy Award-winning singer – who recently celebrated his sixth wedding anniversary with Jennifer – revealed while potty training is in “full force”, the twins have worked out ways to trick their parents into giving them treats in return for correct toilet use.
Speaking on Jay Leno’s US chat show, he added: “Potty training is in full force, but they figure out things. I don’t know how they do it.
“Every time they use their potty we give them a lollipop. Then a few days passed and we ran out of lollipops. I’m like ‘You should probably get them checked out if they’re using the potty that much.’ “

ady Gaga has got back together with her ex-boyfriend.
The ‘Edge of Glory’ singer announced she had separated from Luc Carl in May but the pair have now decided to give their romance another try.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: “They had a little fight. I think the break-up lasted a week or two. But they are totally back together now.”
Gaga – who got together with Luc again in July 2010 after they had a break from each other – announced she was single during an appearance on British TV series ‘The Graham Norton Show’.
She said: “No, I don’t have a boyfriend and haven’t been on any dates recently.”
The 25-year-old singer wrote the song ‘You and I’, which features on her global chart-topping album ‘Born This Way’, about 30-year-old Luc and admitted in the wake of the break-up performing the track makes her emotional.
She explained: “There is not one song on any of my records that wasn’t written by me, and I think when you write your own music you find ways to reinvent [the songs] emotionally through yourself and performance so that they are different every night and that song you know, sometimes it’s about the guy and sometimes it’s about the fans.”

Britney Spears is being sued for $10 million.
The ‘Toxic’ hitmaker and her father Jamie Spears – who is co-conservator of the star’s estate – is the subject of legal action by licensing firm Brand Sense Partners, who allege breach of contract and are claiming they have stopped receiving the 35 per cent commission that was agreed as part of their deal to launch Britney’s fragrance line.
The company have filed a request with Los Angeles Superior Court asking for the singer to be ordered to appear for a deposition in relation to the suit, as they say repeated attempts have been blocked because of her conservatorship.
According to documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Britney was given notice to appear for a deposition on April 29 but couldn’t make it, which sparked lawyers on both sides exchanging “over a dozen emails and phone calls counsel in an attempt to cooperate and find a mutually agreeable date for the deposition.”
Though Britney’s lawyers state the star cannot appear in a deposition because someone else has control of her affairs, Brand Sense insist they want her to do so as she signed the original paperwork.
Their documents state: “Ms. Spears is competent to testify, and she is the key witness in this case. She has direct knowledge of the operative agreement at the heart of this dispute and has signed each of them.”
The company argue that the ongoing attempts for a deposition are causing their legal bills to increase and are seeking “sanctions in the amount of $4,500 which represents their reasonable attorney’s fees.”
A hearing is set for July 11, when a judge will decide if Britney has to appear for the deposition.
