Charlize Theron thinks marriage is a “divine right” but does not want to wed herself.
The Oscar winning ‘Monster’ actress is pleased about a vote in New York which allows same sex couples to marry, she’s doesn’t believe the US government is doing enough, as it is still banned in most states.
She said: “It’s a divine right and when government starts to tell us who can love and what is good love, I do have a problem with that.
“I have a problem with the fact that our government hasn’t stepped up enough to make this federal, to make this legal.”
South Africa born Charlize – who split with long term partner Stuart Townsend last year – enjoys being in a secure, long term relationship but personally sees no reason to have a marriage ceremony for herself.
Speaking on TV show ‘Piers Morgan Tonight’, she added: “I really want for myself a long-term relationship. And I have been in long-term relationships.
“That’s the kind of union that I want. The actual ceremony is not something that is important to me—but I see the importance for other people.”
Jennifer Lopez’s beauty routine has suffered since she became a mother.
The singer-and-actress – who has three-year-old twins Max and Emme with husband Marc Anthony – revealed she never gets a minute to herself anymore and barely even has time to have a bath alone without the kids wanting her attention.
She told Britain’s HELLO! magazine: “It can be hard. Sometimes it’s like literally I’m taking a bath and Max is off with the clothes and in the tub with me or in the shower. You don’t have a minute by yourself. Go to the bathroom? Baby standing right there. I’m like ‘Go outside.’ Emme’s like, ‘No way’. So yeah it’s tough.”
Jennifer has previously admitted her famously toned stomach is proving difficult to maintain since having children.
She explained: “I’ve always been athletic and really enjoyed that. And I’ve never been a big eater.
“But since I had the babies, it’s been harder. Your body does change. Not too drastically, but I definitely have to work harder and watch what I eat more.
“I’ve never had to work on my stomach before – it was like, concave, I was a lucky person – but since the babies, I do. I really have to work on it.”

Lots of bloggers are talking about Leighton Meester’s new single, Body Control today. The Gossip Girl starlet has been working on her début album of what she calls “sexual electro-pop,” and now a track believed to be on that album has found its way onto YouTube. It’s a little too early for me to make my mind up about it, but Leighton certainly has the pipes to carve a music career for herself. Don’t believe me? Then check out this audio clip of her singing her own version of Bette Davis Eyes. Gwyneth who?
