Last night London played host to two of Hollywood’s biggest stars, Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise, who stepped onto the red carpet for the premier of Knight and Day.
Cam, as usual, looked stunning in a silver luxe v-neck jumper dress, which she teamed up with black peep toe shoes.
She was joined on the red carpet by Camilla Kerslake, who opted for a smart white playsuit, which she accessorised with gladiator heels and a black belt. Some stars went for a more elegant look, namely X-Factor contestant Stacy Solomon who opted for a sophisticated two tone taffeta ball gown frock complete with a sash, while Edith Bowman opted for a black shift dress and blazer for her appearance.
However, there’s always one star who doesn’t quite get it right and this time we’re sorry to say the award for worst dressed goes to singer Anastacia, who went for a brassy Pat Butcher style leopard print coat for her red carpet entrance. We’re sorry Anastacia but The Vic is in Woolford, not the West End.
Another night and another event. This time it was the Jeans for Genes party, which was attended by, dare we say it, B and C-Listers.
Wag Danielle Lloyd used the opportunity to show off her baby bump in a white dress and matching headband while X-Factor runner up Stacey Solomon went for a little black dress.
Ex Atomic Kitten Liz McClaron also turned up to the event in a casual outfit consisting of an on-trend floral top and white trousers and Sophie Anderton opted for a cute pink frock with black flat shoes.
Across London Billie Piper was spotted looking worse for wear coming out of the Groucho restaurant in a leopard print coat, while Kelly Brooke opted for a cute red floral lace dress for her night out at Boujis.
We knew Stacey Solomon could make it into the X-Factor final, and if we’re a teeny bit honest we may have voted for her just so we can see what she’ll be wearing next week.
If last weeks clothes were anything to go by then we’re definitely in for a fashion frenzy as she not only competes with the boys in the singing stakes but also Dannii and Cheryl in the style category.
Admittedly we weren’t overly impressed with her first out fit of shorts, fishnets and a blazer, which are all must have trends in themselves, but put together looked a little bit more Pussycat Doll then the Dagenham starlet style we’ve all grown to love.
However, her ball length frock during her second performance blew us away and Stacey’s highstreet love affair continued with a gorgeous floor length gown from All Saints teamed up with a statement cuff and quirky cocktail ring.
And it seems we were wrong about Dannii having a major input in what Stacey wears.
The judge told a caller on the Xtra Factor, who complained Stacey looked like she didn’t like the outfits, that Stacey chooses what she wears and always feels comfortable.
Stylish with a good singing voice, yes we’re a little bit jealous.
Stacey Solomon is doing us proud on the X-Factor, and, if we dare say it giving the judges a run for their money when it comes to her outfits (although we’re sure Dannii has a part to play here.)
True to stylish form Stacey once again hit the fashion note on the head in two stunning outfits for last Saturdays performances.
Singing a Take That song she stepped out in a gorgeous black dress with gold detailing from, Diane Von Furstenberg. This was teamed up with shoes from Carvella and jewellery by Mawi at Start Boutique.
She then went back to evening chic for her Elton John performance wearing a red dress from Issa and shoes for LK Bennett.
Her clothing may not be from extremely pocket friendly highstreet stores, but we know Carvella and LK Bennet are definitely stores we’ll be hinting that our other halves visit this Christmas. We really hope this Dagenham starlett makes it to the final and we can’t wait to see what she’ll be wearing if she does.
We know some of you out there hate Uggs and wellingtons but we couldn’t resist giving you a sneaky look at X-Factor’s Stacey Solomon’s boots.
Yes they’re bright, they’re yellow and they’re Uggs but we have to admit the starlett looks fantastic in them. Stacey is also a girl after own hearts, wearing a Monster Munch tee, which we got so excited about yesterday.
Buy the Ugg boots from Office or go for a waterproof alternative with these short festival style wellingtons from Hunter Boots. You won’t be missed on a dark night, and that’s guaranteed.
Dagenham starlet Stacey Solomon has managed to wow fans and stay in for another week of the X-Factor. And as her voice progresses so do her outfits.
She’s transformed from the jeans and long t-shirt girl we saw in the first few shows into an Essex princess, sporting a range of long ballgowns and sparkley dresses.
We’re not sure if the long style suits her slim frame and bubbly personality but this week we think her stylist got it spot on giving Stacey a short, yet sophisticated Suzanne Neville frock and shoes from one of our favourite highstreet stores Zara.
However we’re pleased to see that off duty Stacey still sticks to her own styling roots sporting a range of tracksuits and Uggs. It doesn’t make us feel so bad now when we have tracksuit days.
Stacey’s outfit for her X Factor performance on Saturday reminded us a lot of a bridesmaid’s outfit – her dress was even designed (and custom made) by a bridal wear designer, Suzanne Neville. The full-length bronze corseted dress was chosen to fit in with the epic song choice, we’re sure, but it didn’t provide us with much style inspiration, unlike last week’s wet-look leggings. Unless you’re planning on getting married.
Her jewellery was eyecatching, though, and it turns out that the diamond earrings, bracelet and ring she was wearing were worth a massive £100,000. She used jewellery rental service Rent Your Rocks, and us mere members of the public who can’t afford to splash out £54,795 on a diamond cuff can use their services too, which cost from £50. So if you’ve got a special occasion coming up, you might be interested in borrowing some jewellery you’d never be able to afford normally – or you could just go to Topshop and pick up a diamante-encrusted cuff instead. Because, let’s be honest, who’s going to tell the difference.
We really hope Stacey doesn’t get booted out of X-Factor this weekend. After Lucie’s shocking exit, we need some girl power and we also want to continue writing about the contestants outfits.
We must admit we were shocked at how good Stacey looked last week in her PVC and leather get up, which, as the judges put it, made her look incredibly sexy. Not many girls would be able to pull off the PVC legging look in such a stylish manner, but if you want to give it a go then head down to Topshop where you can find exactly the same pair.
Continue the look by visiting Vila Mode for Stacey’s dress, Topshop for her shoes and Mawi for her bracelet. Oh, and keep voting so we can continue to see the budding popstar showing off her outfits every week.
