Zooey Deschanel pips Kate and Pippa Middleton to the post to become Ask Mens’ most desirable female

Kate Middleton and her pert bottomed sister have been pipped to the post when it comes to the most desirable by Zooey Deschanel.
The American actress topped a UK poll of 165,000 British users by Ask Men followed closely by Emma Watson. Model Daisy Lowe came third while Lana Del Rey and Mila Kunis completed the top five.
Our stylish Royal came a poor ten after her sister Pippa who made the sixth place. We wonder if the results would have been different if the poll had been the “most stylish”.

The Spring season is almost upon us and we can’t wait to push those jumpers to the back of our wardrobes. It’s also a great excuse to revamp our make up bags.
If you’re a girl who loves the 60s look then you’ll adore this season’s beauty trends, which give a huge nod to this era. One such look is statement smoky eyes.
Seen on the catwalks of Gucci, Rodarte and Erin Fetherstone this look lets you be as big and bold as you like.
Coat those eyelids with dark bold colours, which spread to the brow and of course under the eyelids add some thick eyeliner and you’re ready to dance away to those cheesy tunes in one of this season’s hottest looks.

The baby boom is well and truly here.
Last year a huge amount of celebrities, namely Victoria Beckham and Natalie Portman, gave birth.
However, over the weekend a new yummy mummy joined the baby crew and that’s of course Beyonce who gave birth to a little girl Ivy Blue Carter.
We’ve therefore decided to revise our list of celebrity mums and draw up a new top five.
Victoria Beckham makes the list for her style throughout her pregnancy and after the birth, while Natalie Portman also makes the grade as a result of her fab maternity wear.

Top five red lipstick shades as seen on the SS 2012 catwalks

It’s time to sort out that make-up bag and make way for the next must-have makeup trends. With SS 2012 nearly upon us those winter beauty hues are being placed in the bargain bins to make room for the latest colours.
One trend that made a huge impact on the catwalks for the next season was red lips. Vixen reds, dark berries and orange tints are pushing out those gothic red lips of AW 2011 with Anna Sui, YSL and Erdem all leading the way.
Go for the classic Hollywood red lips as seen at Jason WU or go for a dark shade as shown off at Donna Karan. Pale skinned beauties will look great wearing a red lippy with an orange tint, while the matt look shown off at Erdem is great for darker skin types.
