It’s not long now until Valentine’s Day is upon us now – editor Andrea’s kindly given us a few ideas for what to give our boyfriends, and put forward a few suggestions for special Valentines outfits, but now it’s time to start thinking about what to wear underneath our little red dresses. It’s official – Valentines is one of the only days of the year when it is completely unacceptable to wear anything from your “comfy pile”- forget M&S and Primark and think more Agent Provocateur.
We’ve searched online on some of the best lingerie retail sites around to find for you what we think are some perfect sets of Valentines underwear. Whether you want your undies to make you feel sexy, cute or feminine, we’ve found something to match everyone. Check out the gallery below.
Playful Promises Heart Bow Pants

It seems Lady Gaga will have something to smile about this Valentine’s Day if rumours that she’s back with her ex, designer Matthew Williamson are to believed.
According to InStyle magazine the the kooky singer and her style collaborator and “best friend” have grown increasingly close in the last few months and rekindled their relationship.
The pair previously dated for over a year, but called it off when mixing business and pleasure became too tricky. After they went their separate ways, GaGa dated an entrepreneur named Speedy whilst Matthew became a father in a new relationship. However, neither romance lasted and the pair are now said to be ‘reminiscing’ during GaGa’s Monster Ball tour.
A source told the magazine: “They spend all their time together, and travel everywhere, so it was bound to happen. Speedy dumped her, and Matthew left his girlfriend for Gaga.”
And it’s not just love, it also seems Matthew has been a huge style inspiration to Miss G, coming up with her infamous ‘hair bow’ hair style.
Perhaps Lady G has finally found her style mate.

Love it or loathe it, Valentines Day is coming around fast.
If you’re planning on going out and want to add a Valentines theme to the day then red accessories are the perfect way to go. Not only will they match any outfit (although we advise you to stay away from pink) but they also won’t stand out too much.
Red is also a hot trend this season meaning you can wear your these again and again.
The weather may be frosty but we’re sure they’ll be lots of warm hearts around with these accessories on Sunday.

Celebrity Style, Red Carpet

Valentines Day is slowly upon us and that only means one thing. The shops are full of cards, mini presents and teddies and cinemas full of slushy romantic films that you’ll be dragging you other half to.
Hot on the film list is the aptly named Valentines Day, which hits UK cinemas this week and is said to be the next Love Actually. And last night at the US premier loved up celebrities turned up on the red carpet in their droves to view it.
First up were Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, who looked every inch the Hollywood starlet in a very 50s white strapless knee length frock.
She was followed by stars of the film Jessica Alba, who looked stunning with her newly cropped hair and in a peacock green short tunic style dress and Anne Hathaway who looked sexy in a royal blue feathered strapless number.
However we think both ladies were beaten by their co-star Jessica Biel, who opted to go for a bright pink one shoulder flamenco style frock.

Be pretty in pink this spring with a new redesigned range of watches by Storm.
The funky watches have been created following many of us clamouring to get our hands on the older designs when they first hit the stores a while ago.
They’ve been redesigned in feminine gold and pink and we also love the Mia watch, which has also been designed in gold and red making it a perfect Valentine’s present (start dropping hints now).
However, you better hurry as the limited edition pieces won’t hang around for long.
The watches are available from Storm’s 11 standalone stores, situated in London’s Carnaby Street, Westfield Shopping Centre, Birmingham, Brighton, Bromley, Newquay, Truro, Leicester, Milton Keynes, Plymouth, and Watford.

Wear your heart on your feet and step into Valentines day in creative style with Converse’s new collection. The retro footwear designer has launched RED RED LOVE, which includes a range of heart adorned trainers sporting a “I heart ………” logo.
The idea is you fill in the blank with whatever it is you love with a waterproof fabric pen.
And if you think that sounds good then you’ll be even more pleased to hear that proceeds from this creative range go to fight AIDS in Africa.
We think we may have to buy more than one of these pairs as we just can’t decide what it is we love the most (yes, we know, any excuse).

t’s February, and that means only one thing; the shops and the internet are gearing up for the biggest love event of the year. If like us, you have no idea what to get your other half then why not go for something that you can both enjoy as well as easing your conscious at the same time?
“Life is Not Fair but my Knickers Are” is the latest range of Fairtrade nightwear and underwear by By Nature and each piece in the range has been designed by and made from certified Fairtrade cotton.
Not only is the collection gorgeous and reasonably priced but it’s also doing a lot to help saves lives in developing countries.
According to By Nature, two billion people – a third of humanity – survive on less than $2 a day. Unfair trade rules keep them in poverty, but they face the global challenges of food shortages and climate change too. Fairtrade certification gives developing world producers more control of their own lives, by getting a better deal for the work that they do.
We know we’ll feel a warmth in our hearts at helping someone this Valentines day and if you want to keep this feeling for that little bit longer than why not visit our eco friendly website Hippy Shopper, to get more ideas for valentine’s ethical gifts this year.
Buy the underwear now from Fashion-Conscienceor By Nature. Prices range from £10 to £25.

We’ve been trying to stay off the subject of Valentines Day until next week where we’ll be bringing you a range of love stories, underwear ranges and present ideas.
However, we couldn’t wait to tell you about Lulu Guinness’s lip-themed pop up shop, which will be making cameo move into London’s Carnaby Street from 8 February to coincide with Valentine’s Day and London Fashion Week.
Amongst a range of Lulu goodies, you’ll be able to get your hands on her sought after Lip Clutch bags, and you’ll be also doing a good deed.
A percentage of all the sales from Lulu’s Lip clutch bags will also go towards creating bursaries to support students studying the historical and contemporary practice of fashion.
But you better get there quickly as the shop will only be lingering around until 22 Febuary.

Christmas has well and truly taken the hint and left before it out stayed its welcome, however with the biggest event gone for another 12 months, retailers are looking to the next big money maker.
Cadbury’s Cream eggs have hit the shelves , giving us a not so subtle hint about Easter and other companies are using Valentines day to get us spending.
We know we shouldn’t encourage it, especially as the official day of love is a good few weeks away yet, but we couldn’t help telling you about these kooky jumpers from Max C.
We love part of this range including the cutesy heart adorned cardigan and black cardigan with red sequined hearts. However one cardi in the range reminds us of a more grown up version of “kiss me quick” seaside hats and “I’m available” 18-30′s T-Shirts, and features a not so subliminal “Love me” adorned on the back.

Yes we know we may be being a bit harsh, afterall, slogan style jumpers have been a big hit this year, but we can’t help thinking that this maybe a little bit Bridget Jones rather than Bardot this Valentines day.
