Jennifer Lopez is “terrified” about the idea of working out every day for the rest of her life.
The singer-and-actress had been exercising five times a week to get her in shape for a music video but says she would never want to always be that dedicated as it can take over everything.
Speaking ahead of the shoot, Jennifer said: “It’s not always like this though. The thought of working out every day for the rest of my life terrifies me.”
The 41-year-old beauty also said she has a different attitude to her body since getting older and becoming a mother to her three-year-old twins, Max and Emme.
She told Stylist magazine: “Having the twins changed my body. It feels different on the inside as well as the outside. The texture of my muscles has even changed.
“I feel like I’ve hit my stride in my 40s. In my 20s I knew nothing about taking care of my body but now I’m 41, I feel like this is the age. I think women are looking after themselves more than ever. And we’re also not allowing people to write us off either.”
Lily Allen has collaborated with PlayStation Move for a new video about fashion through the ages.
The ‘Not Fair’ singer – who, along with sister Sarah Owen, launched her fashion store Lucy in Disguise last year – has again teamed up with the PlayStation 3 interactive game, so visitors to the London shop can delve into Lucy’s wardrobe and hire or purchase beautifully selected vintage clothing from the 20s all the way through to the 90s, as well as Lucy in Disguise branded products, while also having fun on the PlayStation 3.
The short film explores the theme of time travel – which was produced and styled by Lily Allen and Sarah Owen and directed by Marie Kristiansen – and it sees Lucy getting ready for a night out and being drawn into her closet and taken on a magical fashion time tour through different fashion. Part of the inspiration for the short has come from Lily and Sarah’s favourite PlayStation Move game ‘Buzz! The Ultimate Music Quiz’.
They said: “For our second Lucy in Disguise film project we wanted to explore fashion through the ages – the film like the store is about girls living it up in a fantasy world, where we rule and are let loose. Out of all the PlayStation Move games we play, Buzz: The Ultimate Music Quiz felt like the perfect accompaniment!”
Alongside the film will be a special motion sensitive light window at the store commissioned by PlayStation Move and designed by Deniz Kurtel , who was inspired by the idea of movement in fashion.

Madonna’s campaigns with D&G have become well known throughout the fashion industry and if you’re a regular reader you would have seen our previews of the AW2010 ads featuring the star.
A few months ago we bought you the news that Madge had gone a step further with the Italian designer brand and collaborated with it to co-design an eyewear range. And we’ve been lucky enough to get hold of the ad video, which of course she stars in, for you to check out.
The singer poses with, and gets a little bit saucy, with male model, Tyson Ballou, for the MDG logo sunglasses vid shot by Steven Klein. We doubt this is the last we’ll be seeing of the star.
It was only yesterday that we featured Scarlett Johansson in our models versus celebrity face-off after some designers said they would go back to using models over A-List stars in their campaigns.
However, we think perhaps we were a little bit too hasty to agree because Scarlett looks amazing in this latest campaign for Dolce & Gabbana Makeup campaign.
The star looks every inch the 50s chick with her Marilyn Monroe curls and we love the blue metallic shade she wears on her eyes. And she’s proved she’s most definitely a muse for the brand. D&G have named a colour in their Roses Lipstick collection Scarlett.
She said of the campaign: “I try to be inspired by old Hollywood glamour, whether that’s Rita Hayworth or Lauren Bacall.”
Watch behind the scenes footage and see what else Scarlett has to say about the campaign by viewing the video below.
We’ve definitely got a lingerie theme going today, so we thought we’d carry on the trend with this stunning Ultimo video staring Kelly Brook.
The model, who was announced as the face of the brand earlier this month, gets posing in little lace undies for this 32-second video, and we have to admit, she’s looking good.
Michelle Mone, brand creator of Ultimo said: “The advert is completely in harmony with Ultimo – it’s sexy, edgy and feminine.
“We wanted to add an element of virality to our Spring campaign, and this film was a surefire way of doing that. It’s already proving incredibly popular online,’with hundreds of people clambering to see Kelly at her sexiest.”
Let us know what you think of Kelly’s curves by watching the video and leaving your comments below.
Lara Stone has barely been out of the spotlight this year due to her high profile campaigns for Louis Vuitton and a number of magazine spreads.
And her personal life has also caused huge waves with the model announcing her engagement to funny man David Walliams last month.
However, today she’s racking up the column inches for her modelling and acting work starring in the new advert for Versace’s Versus fragrance.
The 30-second clip shows her dancing in a room full of mirrors with flashing pink and purple lights in the background. Sounds like our ideal Friday night.
We gave you a first glimpse of Pringle’s SS2010 campaign staring Tilda Swinton and now we’ve got our hands on the promotional video too.
Despite our hopes that the campaign would be fun, the video says a different story, it features Tilda walking across the beautiful Scottish landscape and ending up in a cave wearing different outfits.
And although its not fun, it’s laid back, depicted by Tilda’s lack of footwear, and just a tad eerie. However it does make for riveting watching and the cinematography is amazing.
Ultimate diva Beyonce and current avant-garde diva Lady Gaga have teamed up in a new video for a remix of Beyonce’s song, ‘Video Phone’. Watch the video here.
Lady Gaga was reportedly concerned about upstaging Beyonce, saying she was going to have to tone down ‘fashion Gaga’, but she didn’t need to worry – Beyonce’s pulled out a series of multicoloured, big-shouldered and see-through outfits that almost put Gaga’s usual efforts to shame. The Cut did a break down of the various looks in the video in a slideshow, but it can be summarised succinctly as ‘lots of bodysuits’. Oh, and plastic guns, and a look that’s reminiscent of Will Smith in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
Look out for Lady Gaga halfway through, wearing a demure white strapless bodysuit with matching elbow-length gloves.
While I’m on a designer roll it would be wrong not to tell you about this amazing video showing how a seamstresses turns a Karl Lagerfeld sketch into a finished dress and jacket.
After all there’s nothing more exciting than seeing how designer garments are made, and what we’re actually parting with our money for.
The video, which was given exclusively to The Cut, by Chanel is a great insight into all the hard work that goes into making these pieces and it’s definitely worth a watch. Yes the seamstress makes it look easy but watch the way each sequin is picked up and the way the piping is stitched on. I’m not sure I’d have the patience.
I think that if I’d actually seen a video like this during my disastrous attempts in my textiles A-level I may have done better (well I have to blame something.)

Emma Watson is on fire at the moment! Not the least of her accomplishments is the August ’09 cover of Teen Vogue. The Harry Potter starlet is having a bumper month with a new campaign for Burberry and a rumored fashion range for UNICEF. For her latest high-fashion stint, she models a variety of designs including a puffy-shouldered plum blouse and floral skirt by Dolce & Gabbana (above).

This is unbelievable! Chaos erupted at the New York auditions for America’s Next Top Model on Saturday. The trouble began when a car overheated and blew smoke, causing someone to cry out “There’s a bomb!” This prompted thousands of model hopefuls to become trampled in a stampede and a fight breaking out amongst the crowd. Two women and a man were arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and inciting a riot, and six women required medical attention. Others claimed bad organisation and the inability to leave the queue to go to the toilet and get food was also to blame. The audition was shut down, however neither Tyra Banks or ANTM reps have commented. Click play on video above to watch the chaos unfold.
It’s always worth watching the Betsey Johnson show rather than just looking at the pictures, not just for the designer’s trademark cartwheel at the end of the show (no joke!) but also for the fun poses the models pull as they hit the end of the runway. Betsey’s shows are always about girlie, feminine fun, and this season’s offering doesn’t disappoint. I dare you not to smile!
