Trend Alert: Top five vintage lace pieces
Vintage isn’t a new trend, in fact it’s been around for a decades with many fashionistas making use of their mum’s and nan’s old clothing to mimic a “new” trend that has come in.
However, with the recession biting traditional vintage is becoming more and more popular as people scour charity shops and hit boutiques in areas such as Portabello Road. There’s also a huge range of vintage websites such as My Vintage, which sell traditional vintage clothing at reasonable prices.
One vintage look that’s been all over the SS2010 catwalk is lace, which is part of the bigger Romance trend.
And although you can find this in vintage shops you can also buy it on the highstreet. We know it won’t be traditional and classically second hand, but it’s a perfect alternative for busy girls who just don’t have the time to root around. View our top five vintage inspired highstreet lace styles.
